How do I be more compassionate?



Kiran says...


The best way to become more compassionate is to practice empathy. Try to put yourself in someone else's shoes and think about how you would feel if you were them. Additionally, practice gratitude for all that you have, be mindful of the struggles others are going through and offer help whenever you can.

Hannah says...


You can become more compassionate by practising self-compassion. We are often very hard on ourselves and can judge harshly. If we can forgive our own flaws, mistakes and shortcomings and send ourselves a lot of love we can start to extend that love outwards and have compassion for others. We sometimes project our own insecurities and annoyances onto others so by recognising when you are judging or being harsh, consciously turn that into love and compassion.
